The infamous Reading Festival is heralded as the best music show on the planet. With the most revered artists from across the globe playing each year across the August Bank Holiday weekend, it is a genuine rite of passage for discerning music lovers everywhere. Reading attracts an audience of all ages. You can also catch some of the best up-and-coming artists at the BBC Introducing stage.

The 2018 line-up included Fallout Boy, Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, Panic at the Disco, Kings of Leon and many more.

Facilities available

  • Secure camping
    Oxfam has its own safe and secure campsite which is equipped with a marquee as a community space for our volunteers.
  • Hot tea & coffee
    We also provide all volunteers with access to hot tea and coffee, hot showers and toilets, so it’s really every festival goers dream!
  • Phone charging
    We know that access to power on a festival site is usually tricky so we ensure access to free phone charging points in our marquee.
  • Meal tokens
    You will also receive a meal token for each shift, to keep you full of smiles with a happy tummy.
