How not to tell a joke about the Dalai Lama. To the Dalai Lama…… Feeling lucky? Watch these guys – best bit is at the end [h/t Richard Cunliffe] And finally, one of my musical heroes died last month, Gil Scott Heron. Check out this performance of his wonderful ‘B movie’ critique of Ronald Reagan – part biting satire, part astute commentary, part proto-rap, and all cool class. Album lyrics are even better than this clip. ]]>
Re: Maeklong market in Thailand
I don’t know what is worse. Veggie market train drive-thru or Train tracks village like the ones in our country(Philippines).
I’ll try and send you a photo when I can. The homes are literally a couple of inches away from the body of trains that are passing. I cringe when I see the children living in those conditions and using the train tracks as their playground. Very dangerous
Wow that lucky compilation was amazing.
Gil Scott-Heron one of my lyrical influences, ‘Home Is Where the Hatred Is’ this song is so smooth and personal http://lyricsmusic.name/gil-scott-heron-lyrics/the-revolution-will-not-be-televised/home-is-where-the-hatred-is.html
