Brides to be in Inverness are being given the unique opportunity to bag a bargain bridal dress.

Oxfam’s Inverness store will be hosting an exclusive bridal event on Thursday 30 May from 4-8pm.

The event will showcase a carefully curated selection of wedding attire, including 35 brand new and pre-loved bridal dresses and 25 bridesmaid dresses. Prices will be starting as low as £100 per dress.

With renowned designers such as Ronald Joyce, Amanda Wyatt, Stella York, Alfred Angelo, and Sincerely Bridal represented and sizes ranging from 8-18, there’s something for every bride’s vision.

Guests will be treated to nibbles and refreshments throughout the evening. To ensure an intimate and personalised experience, attendance will be limited, with tickets available upon registering interest with the shop. A £10 deposit secures a spot for guests, which will be deducted from the cost of a dress, should they find their perfect gown on the night.

Kelly Slater, Manager of Oxfam’s Inverness shop, said: “Finding your dream dress at Oxfam’s Bridal Event isn’t just about saying ‘yes’ to the dress; it’s about saying ‘yes’ to making a difference. Buying your dress at Oxfam means you can walk down the aisle in style while playing your part in building a world free from poverty and suffering.”

Staff at Oxfam’s Inverness store are also encouraging locals to donate their pre-loved bridalwear ahead of the big night.

Kelly added: “Donating your bridal gowns gives your wedding dress a second chance to shine while helping to support Oxfam’s lifesaving work around the world. It’s a win-win for brides everywhere.”
